Roger A. Coutts, 83, of Hunlock Creek, passed away Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Andrew and Myrtle Carvel Coutts and was a graduate of Swoyersville High School.
Roger served his country proudly in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion. He worked as an electronics technician for the Tobyhanna Army Depot and was a New York Giants Fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, feeding the ducks, Facebooking and beer, not necessarily in that order.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Johnson Coutts.
Left to cherish the memories are his children, Jill Lewis, Mountain Top; Christopher Coutts (Bree), Luzerne; and Jenna Franklin (GJ), Hunlock Creek; grandchildren, Kelsey Coutts, Alyssa Coutts, Gavin Lewis, Macie Franklin and Lucas Franklin; great-grandson, Oliver Bobbin; and brother, Ronald Coutts.
Roger's wishes were to have no public services.
