Roger Daron Obituary
Roger A. Daron, age 78, of Manitowoc passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Frontida Assisted Living, Manitowoc.
Roger was born April 18, 1944, in Manitowoc, son of the late Edward and Veronica (Skrzypczynski) Daron. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the Class of 1962. On October 31, 1964, he was united in marriage to Susan J. Kopidlansky at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Roger worked at Schmidtman Company, Manitowoc, Dayco, California, Manitowoc Cranes, Manitowoc and Parker Hannifin, Manitowoc until he retired in 2006.
Roger enjoyed watching sports and was an avid fan of the LA Dodgers and Green Bay Packers. He also enjoyed bowling, playing scrabble, listening to Elvis and visiting with family.
Survivors include his four sons: Matthew (Karla) Daron, Manitowoc; John (Patrick Barbour) Daron, Sheboygan; Joseph (Angela) Daron, Manitowoc; Andrew (Jacqueline) Daron, Two Rivers; six grandchildren: Krystal, Krystan, Raymond, Alexander, Emily, Nicholas; 3 great grandchildren: Landen, Theo, Kendall; his siblings: Ervin Daron, Manitowoc; and Jerry (Irma) Daron, Manitowoc, as well as 4 brothers-in-law, 5 sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Susie of 56 years, his sister Dorothy, sister-in-law Delores Daron and brother-in-law Bernard Zierhut.
Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The Lakeshore Family Funeral Homes, Pfeffer location in Manitowoc, is assisting the Daron family with arrangements.
