Roger's vast array of employers included Producer's Dairy, the Wilton Legion, Barbara's Restaurant and Kollsman Instruments. Roger was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1960 where he received a medal of bravery. He was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara (Phillips) Delage, with whom he celebrated 39 years of marriage. Family members include his wife, Louise (Kraus) Delage of Milford; three sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Joan Delage, Mark and Holly Delage, all of Milford, Scott and Sandra Delage of Brookline, NH; a step daughter, Leonora Nickola of Peterborough, NH; ten grandchildren, Damien and wife Olga, Alicia, Brittany, Corey, Alexa, Casey, Mariah, Mallory, Jordan and Isaiah; two great grandchildren, Aubriella and Mila; two step grandchildren; a sister, Sister Jacqueline Delage, Sisters of the Holy Cross, Manchester, NH; many nieces and nephews. Memorial visiting hours are on Tuesday, December 5th from 5:00-7:00pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am in St. Patrick's Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, followed by military honors.
