On April 4, 1964, he married the love of his life, Eunice Claire Bothun at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Dalton, MN with Pastor E.O. Stenson officiating. They lived in the Twin City area, rural Brimson, rural Ashby, and finally rural Dalton where they lived for many years. He was employed in various places before becoming a postal clerk/carrier in Minneapolis and Fergus Falls, ending his 30-year career after being named postmaster in Campbell and then Ashby, MN.
Roger & Eunice became parents of three children, Jill Jennifer Digre Field (Cody, whom Roger also looked upon as a son) of Alexandria, Carl Joseph Digre of Fergus Falls, and Andrew Lowell Digre of Fargo.
Roger enjoyed camping, traveling, gardening, golfing, motorcycling, watching sports, hunting, fishing, and studying and teaching the Scriptures. He was active in Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship for a number of years and was a charter member of the North Hennepin chapter, President of the Fergus Falls chapter, and was named an International Director.
He is survived by his wife, children, son-in-law, brother Kenneth Digre, nephews, nieces, and cousins. At request of the family, no flowers are requested. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Life Church or Hospice of the Red River Valley.
