Roger Robert Epperson, 83, of Flagler Beach, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024. He was born on August 13, 1941 in Flint, Michigan where he enjoyed a long career with General Motors. He prioritized making memories with his children, grandchildren, and other family members. He had an infectious smile and loved making people laugh. Roger rekindled an old love and married Janet in 1982. They blended their families and he became "Dad" again. In 1999 Roger and Jan relocated to Flagler Beach where Roger was able to be close to his brother, Ray. They shared many hobbies and family activities together, but they always enjoyed a round of Golf!
Roger is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Janet I. Epperson; daughter, Roxanne Weissert (husband, James Weissert); son, Roger R. Epperson, Jr.; daughter, Rhonda Straley (husband, Dr. Jeffrey Straley); son, Scott Smith (wife, Debbie Smith); daughter, Julie Bell (husband, Roddick Bell); son, Mark Parker (wife, Laura Parker); brother, Raymond Epperson, Jr. (wife, Joy Epperson); sister, Diane Dudley; sister, Connie Weissert; sister, Debbie Zokoe; granddaughter, Erica Gustafson; granddaughter, Stacie Molnar; grandson, Tyler Weissert; grandson, Dylan Epperson; granddaughter, Lauren Keller; granddaughter, Juliyana Fridline; granddaughter, Kennedy Claes; grandson, Erik Bell; grandson, William Bell; grandson, David Parker; great grandchildren, Micahel Gustafson, Aidan Gustafson, Lily Weissert, Indie Weissert, Theo Epperson, and Wells Molnar; his beloved dog Murphy, and other extended family and friends.
