Roger Dale Estes

Roger Dale Estes, age 78, of Coalfire, AL died December 13, 2025 at the VA Medical Center in Birmingham. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include daughters, Misty Estes of Pensacola, FL and Sparrow Estes of Birmingham; sons, Rodney Estes and wife, Tiffany Smith Estes of Coalfire and Cody Estes and wife, Torey Bean Estes of Gordo; sister, Barbara Jean Yarbrough; six grandchildren, Garrett Estes (Kendell), Raye Ann Britt (Chance), Allie Estes, Creek Estes, Landon Acker and Mason Acker; three great-grandchildren, Graham, Tucker and Carson; nieces and nephews, Mike Yarbrough (Belinda) and Stephanie Clanahan (Craig) and the mother of his children, Annette Foley Estes.
Roger was born April 21, 1947 in Coalfire, Alabama to the late Ruben Estes and Bernice Abrams Estes. He was the owner and operator of Estes Logging and a veteran of the United States Navy.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Estes, Cody Estes, Garrett Estes, Mike Yarbrough, Craig Clanahan and Charles Ray Boone.
