Madelyn Lancaster Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Skelton Funeral Home - Reform on Mar. 4, 2026.
Maddy went home to be with Jesus on March 3, 2026, passing peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family. Though doctors once said she would only live to be two years old, her life became a beautiful testimony of God's faithfulness for 23 precious years. Though she was never able to walk or speak, Maddy's light shone brightly and her life touched more hearts than words ever could.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Friday, March 6, 2026 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joyce Snider and Kim Marsh officiating. Burial will be in Graham Memorial Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bill "Bebe" Wyatt.
Survivors include her parents, Chris Lancaster and Mandy Wyatt Lancaster; sister, Kenzey Elmore and husband, Mason; grandparents, Wanda Wyatt and Joe and Barbara Lancaster, aunts, Dana Sullivan (Keith) and Mitzi Rickman (Bill) and a host of cousins.
Pallbearers will be Brent Rickman, Brandon Rickman, Jake Rickman, Zach Sullivan, Luke Sullivan, Matthew Bellan, Scott Ellis and Jacob Elmore.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. David Lozano and Dothan Sub Speciality Peds, Dr. Jan Mathison, Dr. Julia Boothe and PC Primary staff, Dr. Joe Wallace, Dr. Lee Richardson, Children's Rehabilitation Services, West Alabama Regional Commission Area on Aging, Amedisys Hospice, Interventional Radiology of DCH, Dr. Karen Walker, Fayette Medical Center Respiratory Dept., H & W Apothecary, Reform First Methodist Church, Tuscaloosa Supply Co. and to the many family and friends who loved Maddy that are too numerous to mention.
The family would prefer guests to wear bright, spring colors, not black.
