Ethel Luecity Lancaster

Ethel Luecity Lancaster, 93, of Ranson, WV passed away February 24, 2026 at her residence.

Born September 12, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Deener and Viola Potter Deener.

Ethel attended the former Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church.

Ethel loved to play bingo and enjoyed family vacations.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Gay of Ranson, granddaughter, Tina Davis and husband, Doug of Ranson, one great-grandson, Bradley Davis and wife, Lindsay of Ranson, two sisters-in-law, Maxine Longerbeam and Josephine Mercer and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Calvin in 2005, one sister, Grace Wilt and one brother, Irvin Deener.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV. Interment will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at the funeral home.
