Roger Dale Hatfield, age 74 died Tuesday December 30, 2025 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo after a brief illness. He was a employee of Booneville Lumber Co for several years, a past city of Baldwyn employee. He had worked for Aston tree service, FMC and the Ms Highway Dept. Roger enyoyed riding 4 wheelers, fishing and spending time with his family. Services will be at 1 pm Saturday at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Robert McCoy and Bro. Heath Coggins officiating. Burial will be in the Asbury Cemetery. Survivors include his sister Diannah Coggins & Rex of Baldwyn, a brother Sammy Hatfield of Baldwyn, 2 brother-in-law, Hoyle Dykes and Phillip Reynolds both of Baldwyn and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents William R. & Geneva Yarbrough Hatfield, his wife Sharon Hatfield, 2 sisters, Pamela Dykes and Cynthia A. Reynolds.
