Roger Kable, 74, of Rockford, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Divine of Shane Hill in Rockford. He was born August 24, 1950 and was the son of the late William and Mary (Griggs) Kable.
He was a skilled machinist, who worked at CTS for 37 years until retirement. After retirement Roger spent a lot of time helping others with farming, even traveling at times to lend his assistance. He liked going to car shows and riding his motorcycle. And it was not uncommon to find Roger tinkering around on a project or sitting around a fire.
Surviving are his son, Eric Kable of Van Wert, Ohio; daughter, Kristi (Cary) Funk of Decatur, Indiana; two brothers, Keith Kable of Decatur, Indiana and Lowell Kable of Portland, Indiana; and two grandchildren, Caden and Ethan Funk.
Roger was preceded in death by his brothers, Leroy, Gerald, and Gary Kable.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Ketcham Ripley Funeral Home, 111 West First Street, Rockford, Ohio 45882, with pastors Bill Halter and Steve Haskins officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Ketcham Ripley Funeral Home.
