Roger L. Kallio, 76, of Caspian, MI, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital.
He was born on January 16, 1949, in Hancock, MI, the son of the late Viljo and Laila (Tauriainen) Kallio. Roger attended the local schools, graduating from Stambaugh High School with the class of 1967. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was employed at the White Pine Copper Mine for many years and later worked at Coleman Products and then Aramark. Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to camp.
Roger is survived by his daughter, Gina (Kevin Mathison) Kallio of Caspian, MI; significant other, Barbara Marcell of Caspian, MI; sister, Carol Stolberg of Comstock Park, MI; extended family and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Kallio.
Private family services will be held.
