Roger Alvin "Seville" Koebe, 81, of North East passed away on February 9th, 2026 at his residence.

He was born on February 7th, 1945 in Merrill, Wisconsin to the late Alwin H. and Ann T. Laske Koebe.

Roger was a veteran of the Vietnam War proudly serving in the United States Army honorably ending his service as a Staff Sergeant (E6).

He graduated from Johnsonburg Area High School and Gannon University where he earned his BA and MBA in Business.

Throughout his business career, Roger was employed as a Global Operation Manager at D.B. Riley in Erie, Plant Manager at Penn Aluminum in Ohio, Salesman at New Motors, Finance Specialist at Bob Ferrando, and Courtyard Winery until his final retirement at the age of 75.

Roger loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed quality time with his grandchildren who were his pride and joy. He loved to chat and wasn't shy about starting conversations, even with strangers. Roger was always a health and fitness enthusiast and was a regular fixture at many of the local gyms. His motto was "you get out what you put in". He had interest in natural healing, spending a lot of time researching and reading up on the latest trends and findings. He was proud of becoming a Ham Radio operator, (N3UDQ) having achieved his "Extra" ticket and was a member of multiple ham radio clubs and organizations, serving as president of one. He will be sadly missed by his family and many close friends.

Roger is survived by his beloved wife Terri (Stoddard) Koebe whom he married December 29, 1993; sons, Roger "Toby" Koebe (Jennifer) of Erie, Jeffrey Beardsley (Katie) of North East, and Scott Beardsley (Jennifer) of North East; sister, Roslyn Buehler (Thomas) of Dewittville, NY; grandchildren, Caitlin, Anna, Madison (Matt), Mikalah, Mia, Parker, and Payton; and several nieces and nephews.
