Roger William Lang, age 72, of Northville, Michigan, passed away surrounded by those who loved him. Roger was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He was born on November 19, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, and was a proud graduate of Livonia Franklin High School. Roger spent many years working in construction and later at DHL, where he was known for his strong work ethic.

Roger had a deep love for the great outdoors, especially fishing. His family's lake cottage on Harsens Island was his favorite place to be each summer, where he enjoyed fishing and boating with friends. He also loved cooking and was well known for his famous pizza rolls and Chex Mix, which were favorites among family and friends.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Joan Lang. He is survived by his loving wife, Dawn; his children, Russell (Andrea) Lang, Raymond Lang, and Candace (Rachel) Senkbeil; his siblings, Chris (Becky) Lang, Diane (the late Sam) Epley, and Dennis Lang; and his cherished granddaughter, Sofia.

In accordance with Roger’s wishes, a memorial gathering will be held at Schrader Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the  Michigan Parkinson's Foundation and  Heartland Home Hospice would be greatly appreciated. Contribution envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Friends may gather at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:30 AM.
