Roger J. Lemire

Roger J. Lemire, 82, passed away Sunday December 21, 2025, at Embrace Hospice House. He was born May 29, 1943 in Lewiston, Maine a son of the late George Lemire and Rosalia Richards Lemire.

He was also predeceased by a sister Doris and Rosalee; grandson, Cody Meile.

Roger was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and friend. He enjoyed fishing and he enjoyed entering tournaments, where he won two fishing tournaments. Playing horse shoes was one of his favorite sports he enjoyed playing, where he was the horse shoe champ of South Carolina. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Lemire is survived by his wife of sixty- two years, Catherine L Lemire; his children, Roger J. Lemire, Karen Meile and Theresa Pepiot (Brad); sister, Cindy Wlodyka; four grandchildren, Samantha Leblanc (Jeffery), Shauna Allen, Keith Meile, Jessica Morrill (Nick) and three great grandchild, Taylor Morrill, Jackson Morrill and Evelyn Jones, many other family and friends who will miss him.
