Roger Lynn Obituary
Roger Ross Lynn, age 81, of West Unity, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, at Hillside Country Living near Bryan.
Roger was born on June 6, 1943, in Newark, the son of Herbert Bond and Alice Geneva (Martin) Lynn. He was a 1961 graduate of the Fremont High School in Kettenring. Throughout most of his life, he worked as a salesman in the Dayton area. On May 16, 2004, he married Mary Sue Clark-Lynn. Roger had a quick-witted personality that brought a smile to the faces of his coworkers and family. He loved his dogs and his wife, Mary. West Unity, Mary's hometown, became his home in retirement.
Roger is survived by wife, Mary Sue Clark-Lynn; stepson Tim (Michelle) Clark; stepgrandson Chase (Meaghan) Clark; and stepgreat-grandson, Cooper Clark. He was preceded in death by both parents; and first wife, Viola.
A celebration of Roger's life will be held at Hillside Country Living. Inurnment will be in the Shiffler Cemetery, near Bryan. In memory of Roger Lynn, memorial contributions may be given to Hillside Country Living's Activity Fund. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com. Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with arrangements.
