Roger McKay Obituary

Roger Louis McKay, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2023, in West Allis, Wisconsin. Born on February 23, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Roger's professional life was characterized by precision and perseverance. He spent many years working as a tool and die maker, a testament to his meticulous nature and commitment to craftsmanship.
Roger was deeply involved in his community. He was a longtime member of the House of Prayer Church in Franklin, Wisconsin. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he brought the same dedication to his church community as he did to every other aspect of his life. Roger also served as a member of the Lions Club, contributing his time and energy to the service of others.
Roger is survived by his son, Brian (Karen) McKay, and his siblings, Anita (Rich) Bontempo and Danny (Lisa) McKay. Also survived by many nieces, nephews great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna (Paulson), his parents Clark and Hazel McKay, his brother Jerry (Lyla) McKay, and his sister LaVon Berry.
For the last 18 years of his life, Roger found companionship and love with Donna Erickson. Their relationship brought him great joy, and they shared many happy moments together.
In remembering Roger, we celebrate a life well-lived. Visitation will be held at the Max Sass Funeral Home - Mission Hills Chapel on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 10 AM until time of service at 11:30 AM.
