It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roger Joseph Neuleib, a dedicated husband, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He passed away peacefully at his residence on January 22, 2025 at the age of 86.
Roger was born on June 23, 1938 in Fergus Falls, MN to Walter and Minerva "Minnie" (Teberg) Neuleib.
On June 28, 1958 Roger married Audrey Watterud at Hamar Lutheran Church.
He held various positions before commencing his career with the city of Fergus Falls, retiring in 2000 after 27 years. Roger was widely cherished for his kindness, sense of humor, warm embrace, and his remarkable ability to repair nearly anything. He had a passion for woodworking, fishing, working on jigsaw puzzles, observing and feeding birds as well as deer, and taking great pride in maintaining his yard. He served on the cemetery committee at First Lutheran Church, as well as ushering. He was also a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Walter and Minnie Neuleib; his sister, Sharon Neuleib; his granddaughter, Katy Sillerud, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Doris and Bob Teberg..
Roger is survived by his loving wife, Audrey Neuleib; his children, Kirk (Robin) Neuleib, Cindy (Dean) Sillerud, Kyle (Sheila) Neuleib; his grandchildren, Heather (Kevin) Michaelsen, Cory Neuleib, Courtney (Dan) Juhnke, Brandon Sillerud, Andrina (Jordan) Duphorn; six great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Connor Michaelsen, Travis and Tashia Neuleib, Clara and William Juhnke and great-grandchild number seven, Josie Duphorn expected in March; brothers, Marlo (Bonnie) Neuleib and Jim (Dimitra) Neuleib; sister-in-law, Donna (Pete) Piekarski; brothers-in-law, Charles Watterud and Merlin (Barb) Watterud, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of donors choice.
Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 30, 2025 at First Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls, with visitation one-hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment: First Lutheran North Cemetery, Fergus Falls, MN
