Roger Robertson, 85, passed away peacefully while in the care of Cypress Hospice at Generations Senior Living, surrounded by the love of his family.

He was the loving husband of 63 years to Carol Robertson (née Aufmuth), and devoted father of David (Teresa), Susan Neylon (Steve), Dean (Lori), and Marc (Stacey).

Proud grandfather of eleven: Allyson Webb (Andy), Katlyn Neylon, Alex Robertson (Bryce), Elizabeth Robertson (Cody), Kyle Robertson (Claire), Taylor Lagzdins (Ryan), Michael Robertson (Allie), Drew Robertson (Ally), Ryan Robertson (Lucy), SarahRobertson, and Lauren Robertson.

Great-grandfather of seven: Derek, Miles, Rachel, and Austin Webb; Eden and Graham Lagzdins; and Rory Robertson.

Roger shared 63 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Carol. They met shortly after high school. Together they raised four children and created a home full of memories and tradition.

Roger founded Robertson Equipment Company in 1977 and built it into a successful family business that continues today. He had a talent for sales and took pride in providing for his family. After retiring, he worked as a real estate agent and enjoyed staying active and connected with people.

He believed in making time for experiences. He made family vacations a priority, creating memories that will last for generations. This led to the acquisition of Westlake Travel. An avid golfer, he played courses across the country and around the world, including St. Andrews, and recorded two holes-in-one. He completed the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C., and proudly rode his Harley to Sturgis with friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Reda Robertson; his sister, Sandra “Sue” Gemmel; and his brother, William Robertson.

He is survived by his brother, John Robertson (Kathy), and his sister, Tracy Shriver.

He will be remembered for his determination, his love of family, and the foundation he built for those he leaves behind.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at The Zabor Funeral Home located at 5680 Pearl Road, Parma, Ohio 44129 (between Ridge & Snow Rds.)
