Roger Sayen Obituary
He was born Sept. 4, 1943, in Superior, Wisconsin, to Marshall and Ethern (Van Armon) Sayen. Roger was a United States Air Force Veteran. He loved helping others and spending time in nature with his wife Sandra. Roger built their log cabin, where they spent a very special 24 years living in Minnesota woods.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Craig Sayen; a brother, Marshall Sayen, Jr. and a sister, Judy Barnard.
Roger is survived by his wife, Sandra Sayen of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two sons, Roger Sayen, Jr. of Colorado and Paul Sayen of Minnesota; a daughter, Carol (David) Burgess of Marshall, Arkansas; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Talamantez of Colorado; a brother, James Sayen of Florida; a brother-in-law, Frank Barnard of Wisconsin; five grandchildren, Oceanna, Ellie, Zen, Hanah and Aeva and four great grandchildren, Josiah, Heath, Angel and Leilani.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Conner Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
