Roger was born March 28, 1968, in Bluefield, WV. Roger moved to Freeman, WV when he was 5 years old, which was where he called home most of his life.

Sexton; special uncle, Larry Farthing; as well as many cousins and friends. He was once married to Tammy Sexton (Price) and helped raise her two sons, Dustin and Michael as his own.

He came back home to live with his parents until his passing.
Roger spent many days hunting and fishing with his father, brother, and friends. He was a member of the Princeton Boxing Club in his younger days and a proud life member of the NRA. He loved old cars; he owned a restored 1965 Chevelle that he and his father Alvin restored. Most of all, he loved his Pittsburgh Steelers. Roger gave his life to Jesus Christ in August 2023, he was saved and baptized at the Ceres Baptist Church in Ceres, WV, by Pastor Mooney.
Friends may call on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 6:00-7:00 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.
