Roger Byron Siebe, son of the late Louis and Beulah (nee Morris) Siebe, was born June 5, 1949, in St. Louis, MO. He was baptized at Grace Chapel Lutheran Church. After serving 6 years in the Missouri National Guard, Roger attended Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville from which he received a BA in Fine Arts. Roger was a gifted artist and worked as a graphic designer at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch until his retirement in 2009.
Roger was a talented catcher, and played baseball from Little League into his 50’s. He also played baseball in college.
Roger was married to the love of his life, Mary Jane Floerchinger, for 50 years. They were blessed with two daughters, Tara (John) Masidonski, and Anne (Greg) Halvachs, and three grandchildren, Aiden, Ava and Violet. Roger was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, coworker and friend to many.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 9:00 am until Funeral services 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 737 Barracksview Road, Saint Louis, MO 63125. Interment following services at St. Paul Churchyard Cemetery.
