Roger Stoll Obituary

Roger Stoll, 73 years old, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away on December 11, 2025, after short battle with pancreatic cancer.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Deborah J. Stoll, three children, Eric Lee (Amy), Rachel Michell and Robert Edward (Haley) Stoll; grandchildren, Brandon Tyler, Addie Christine, and Eric Matthew Stoll, Robert Joe and Samantha Michell Zigler and Makailah Jane Stoll; great grandchildren, Orion Gillespey, Onyx, Odysee and Oaklee Zigler, Dominic Lee Joe, Jaxon Michael and Malakia Wheeler, siblings, Jeffrey (Letha), Allen (Janet, deceased), and Gerald Ray (Lynn) Stoll; also brothers-in-law, Kenneth D. (Letha), James A. (Ruth), Jefferey D. (Jean, deceased) and Michael S. Caplinger.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Verda Gingerich Stoll; sister, Joella Stoll and in-laws, Elza E. and Margaret Weddle Caplinger.

Roger was a foreman over the road truck driver for 20 years and retired from KYB Manufacturing after 18 years working variety of jobs in the factory.

Roger was well loved by all who knew him. He loved fishing, gardening and shared the produce with our neighbors.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, December 22 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main St. Greenwood with a memorial service starting at 2:00pm. Pastor Joe Sanford will be officiating and Roger Smith providing music. There will be a meal provided by woman of Grace United Methodist Church after the service at 1300 East Adams St. Franklin, Indiana 46131.
