Roger Allen Taylor

Roger Allen Taylor, age 81, of Carrollton, KY passed from this life at home surrounded by his family on December 15, 2025 after a lengthy illness.  He was born on June 10, 1944 in Carrollton, KY to Orville J. and Velma Lee (Tingle) Taylor.  Roger, a proud U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, was a member of Whites Run Baptist Church and a retired chemical operator for M&T Chemical in Carrollton, KY.  He also was a bus driver for numerous years with the Carroll County Board of Education, a position he dearly loved.  Family was always priority for Roger, making sure there was always involvement in the lives of his two daughters, Misty and Bethany and always keeping up with his grandchildren in their activities.  He always had a soft spot for pets and all animals and enjoyed fishing, Nascar,  and all U.K. sports.

Left to mourn his passing are his two daughters; Misty L. (Rodney) Wheeler and Bethany Petry, both of Carrollton, KY, three grandchildren; Daniel (Sari) Wheeler, Austin (Rachel) Hazel and Elle Petry and great grandchild Liam Wheeler.  Roger is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patricia O'Nan.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.  Visitation will be on Friday, December 19, 20925 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the English Cemetery.
