Roger is a great friend of mine, and a great team mate.
We hung out at The Boys Club together, raced slot cars, played ping pong and pool.
Roger was always a happy guy.
Easy to be with

Roger was a great teammate and a really good guy. I am so glad we were able to get back together in 2019 with our undefeated 1969 Football team . It was great to catch up with him and to see he was still the same great guy he always was ; fun to be with. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends---I hope that your wonderful memories of him will help sustain you at this difficult time.

Roger was a good man and a good and true friend. I had many a laugh and good times with Roger, from Payne School, to passing the Indianapolis Star, on through High School, to telling " trucking stories ". He will be sorely missed.
