Roger Lee Tilson, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at his residence in Elizabethon, TN. He was born in Meadowview, VA to the late Claude Yokley Tilson and Ocia Lola Moore Tilson on February 10, 1945. Roger served his country during the Vietnam War era in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Demolition Expert from 1964-1966.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his oldest daughter Sherri Tilson Stiles; siblings Kelly Tilson, Paul Moore, Lola Kate Davenport, Rosella Barrett, and Freda Kay Johnston.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Sandra Dianna Hunt Tilson; his daughter, Regina Tilson Stiles (Ronnie); two grandchildren, John Dwayne Tiller (Marsha) and Krystina Smith; great-grandson, Brendon Tiller, with another on the way and several nieces and nephews.
