Roger D. Trotter, 68, of Wayne City, IL passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025, at his residence.

Roger was born August 7, 1956, in McLeansboro, IL, to Darwin Delmer and Gayle (Smith) Trotter.

Roger had worked at North American Lighting as a technician for many years and also had done electrical work. He was a member of the Orchardville Fire Department, if the whistle blew, he was there to help in any way he could. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, bass fishing, looking at classic cars and collected tractors. He attended and was a member of the Orchardville Church and had helped with some of the building projects over the years.

Roger is survived by his mother, Gayle Trotter; Misti Fenton; daughters, Rachel Trotter, and Amanda Sager; six grandchildren; sister, Donna Downen; brother, Randy (Cathy) Trotter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Darwin Delmer Trotter, brother, Rick Trotter and a sister, Dianna Holzheu.

Private family service will be held at a later date.
