Roger T Turley Sr.

Roger Turley, 87, of Glen Rock and formerly of Waldwick, NJ passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Born and raised in Jersey City, he resided in Waldwick from 1970 to 2018 when he moved to Glen Rock. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ridgewood. Roger loved to summer at the beach with his wife Tina and their extended family. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his great grandchildren.
Loving and devoted father of Janice Waggoner and husband Peter, Roger Turley, Jr. and wife Mari, Tammy Morel and husband Stewart and Kim Hodges and husband William. Cherished grandfather of Meredith, Roger III, Kerry, Michael, Corey, Tyler, Chip and Rose. Adored great-grandfather of Illyana, Violet, Stella, Grace, Lexie, Owen, Ruth, Rose and Liam. Roger was predeceased by his beloved wife Valentina Turley and his great granddaughter Catharine.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com,257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral service is 10:00am on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church, 722 E. Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood. Please meet at church. Interment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus immediately following the service.
