Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mr. Roger Lee Turner Jr., age 57, who passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center in South Carolina. Mr. Turner was a native of Appling County living most of his adult life in Troy, North Carolina. He attended Berean Assembly of Albemarle, NC, and loved riding his motorcycles.
Mr. Turner is preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Faye Herrin Turner.
Surviving is his wife, Michelle R. Turner of Troy, NC; two sons, Joshua Turner and T.J. Turner both of Troy, NC; four siblings, Rick Dwyne Newton (Marina) of Baxley, GA, Vicky Lee Turner of Spartanburg, SC, Lisa Fay Hathcock (Lynn) of Albemarle, NC; and Teresa Newton Lanier (Les) of Norwood, NC; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dannie Hix officiating.
Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Nobles Funeral Home.
Active Pallbearers are T.J. Turner, Zachary McSwain, Matthew Newton, Kaleb Spikes, Richard Turner, and Scott Vanderburg.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a dinner following the service beginning 4:30 P.M. at Discount Flooring 586 W. Parker Street, that is being provided by Charity Baptist Church in Albemarle, NC.
