Roger Lee Williams

Roger Lee Williams of Hamilton, VA went home to be with our Heavenly Father on August 7, 2025 at the age 81. He was born in Leesburg, VA on May 28, 1944. He is the son of late Roger and Ada Williams of Leesburg, VA.

Roger grew up in Loudoun County and went to Loudoun County High School. He was a dedicated and hard worker. He worked for C.W. Wright for 14 years, IBEW Local 26 for 10 years, and National Institutes of Health for 20 years. In 1984 Roger and his wife Sharon started Roger Williams Electrical Service and served Loudoun County for over 28 years.

Roger and Sharon were married in Hamilton and had 39 loving years. Roger is survived by his loving and caring wife Sharon, one daughter Sharon Ann Signor of Hamilton, VA, one grandson James Signor of Virginia Beach, VA, and two great grandchildren of Virginia Beach, VA. Brother Larry and Brenda of Lucketts, VA. Sister Gertie and Bud of Rocky Ridge, MD. Debbie, Martinsburg, WVA and several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his brothers Asa Williams of Manassas, VA. Charles Williams of Charlestown, WVA. Dennis Williams of Winchester, VA, John Williams of Gaithersburg, MD, and Richard Williams of Leesburg, VA.

Roger loved hunting, camping, fishing, boating, and taking beautiful pictures. He also enjoyed spending time with his 1957 Classic Super 88 Oldsmobile. He won several trophies at car shows. He also was a member of the Purcellville Cam Jammers Car Club and The Oldsmobile Club of America. He was a huge fan of Washington Redskins/Commanders and he participated in the Fund Raiser for the Ronald McDonald House sponsored by the Washington Redskins. He also enjoyed dances at Eagles, Brunswick, MD, gardening, baseball and soft ball. He had a great time making homemade apple butter outside with a huge copper kettle on a fire and making homemade doughnuts. He liked going to Hooter's for their great wings. He always looked forward in having the Christmas parties and spending time with family and friends.

The viewing for family and friends is scheduled at Hall's Funeral Home, Purcellville, VA on Wednesday August 13 from 6 to 8pm and funeral is scheduled Thursday, August 14 at 11 am. Grave site following at Lovettsville Union Cemetery.
