REV. ROGER WILLIAM WOOTTON

WOOTTON, Rev. Roger William Age 95, of Peabody, served in Army Air Force. Rose to Second Lieutenant. Graduate of Episcopal Theological School (Master of Divinity), Cambridge, MA, 1952. Served as Rector at Saint John's Church, Cambridge, OH, 1952-1960, Church of the Good Shepherd, Acton, MA, 1960-1982, Saint Paul's Church, Malden, MA, 1982-1990. Retired in 1990. In retirement, served several parishes including Church of the Advent, Boston, MA and Christ Church, Hamilton, MA. Survived by four children, six grandchildren, and his companion, Carolyn Caci. Married to Gladys Slocum Wootton. Married to Jane P. Owens Wootton. Family, colleagues, and friends will gather to honor and remember Father Wootton's life for his Wake in The Church of The Good Shepherd, 164 Newtown Rd., Acton, Tues., June 8th, from 4-7 pm. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, MA 02180, Wed., June 9th, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Acton.
