Roland "Rocky" Clark, age 66 of Moore, Oklahoma went to be with his Heavenly Father Saturday, September 18th, 2021. He was born June 8, 1955, in Norman, Oklahoma. Rocky was a graduate of Moore High School, Class of 1973, where he was a multi-sport athlete. He was active in both football and baseball eventually receiving a baseball scholarship. Rocky met Phyllis, his childhood sweetheart, best friend, and love of his life in the 9th grade and remained by her side for 51 years until the Lord brought him home. Rocky carried his love for athletics into adulthood, whether it was playing tennis with his wife, daughters, and granddaughters or basketball with his sons and grandsons he was always a true competitor. He passed on his love for sports to his kids and grandkids, coaching many of them through their youth. Rocky was very active in church, leading younger generations by teaching Sunday school from ages 4 up to young married couples. Rocky's passion for the Lord was evident in how he lived his life impacting numerous kids and families through his work both professionally and at church or by coaching kids. Rocky had a love for his family that was unrivaled. He loved traveling the world with his wife, large family vacations, and attending every single event in his grandkid's lives. He had a unique and personal relationship with each and every one of his grandkids. Rocky owned a local business with his son, Russell, R&R Homes, for over 20 years where they have had a tremendous impact on the community. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Sandra Clark. Rocky is survived by his wife of 47 years, Phyllis Clark; 2 sons, Russell Clark and wife, Tabitha and Michael Clark and wife, Mandi; 2 daughters, Lori Fitzgerald and husband, Brian and Tracie Wolfe and husband, Kyle; 13 grandchildren, Ryan Clark, Lanie Wolfe, Jacob Clark, Kelsi Fitzgerald, Dayton Wolfe, Brice Fitzgerald, Denver Wolfe, Brayden Clark, Kylie Clark, Turner Clark, Samantha Clark, Victor Clark, and Victoria Clark; 2 brothers, Dwight Clark and wife, Tracie and David Clark and wife, Dixie; 1 sister, Shannon Cusack, and husband, Ronnie; 1 brother-in-law, Cliff Marical and wife, Debbie; 2 sisters-in-law, Linda Shelton and husband, William, and Sherri Brandon and husband, Gary; 12 nieces and nephews. Visitation for Rocky will be held from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Wednesday, September 22nd at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore. Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 23rd, at Victory Family Church, located at 4343 N. Flood Ave., in Norman. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Norman. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
