Roland Daggett Obituary

Roland Pierce Daggett Jr., 93, husband of Charma Daggett, passed away on Aug. 16, 2025.
Roland was born on May 1, 1932 in Willoughby, Ohio. He was the son of the late Roland Sr. and Reva Daggett. He was preceded in death of oldest son, Mark Daggett.
Survivors include his wife, Charma; and sons, Mike and Matt (Jennifer) Daggett. Survivors also include his three stepdaughters that he helped raise for 52 years, Michele Choma, Connie Posey (Carl) and Kelly Choma; grandchildren, Kyle Hughes, Caylin Spiro (Connor) and Crystal Posey; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Adelaide, Makayla, Emma and Noah.
Roland earned his pilot's license at the age of 17 while still in high school. He joined the Air Force at 18 years old. He was a tail gunner on a B-29 where he completed the maximum of 25 missions. He received the following medals: Korean SVC Medal, U.N. SVC Medal, Air Medal, Air Crew Members Badge, Natl Def SVC Medal and Good Conduct Medal.
Roland's main career after leaving the service was a long distance tractor trailer driver. After retirement, he and Charma enjoyed traveling with friends and family. He was a smart and funny man with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed classic cars and the History Channel.
Per his wishes, there will be no service.
