Roland J. "Yancy" Dicket

Roland J. Dicket, formerly of Hessmer, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 2,2026 at the age of ninety-three. He was the son of the late Ferdinand and Ida V. Dicket. Beloved husband of the late Anna Lee M. Dicket. Loving brother to the late Ruby D. Fontenot, Merlin, and Roy Dicket. Uncle to Lucy LaBorde Floyd (Larry), the late Gloria LaBorde Smith (late Frank Sr.), the late Janell LaBorde Sylvia (Marty), and the late Donald Dicket (late Rosemary). He was a great-uncle to many great-nieces and great-nephews who loved him dearly.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 9am-11am with a prayer service immediately following at 11am, at Greenwood Funeral Home, (formerly All Faiths Funeral Home), located at 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA. Interment to follow in St. Patrick #1 Cemetery, located at 5000 Canal Street., New Orleans, LA.
