Roland I Hansen

Roland "Buck" Hansen, age 76, of Maumee, Ohio, died at Cleveland Clinic surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 7, 2026. He was born on November 5, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio to Rolland and Hilda Hansen. Buck was employed by Lucent Technologies retiring in 2015. Buck was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time on his brother-in-law, Dan's farm. He especially loved spending time with his family and cheering on his grandchildren. He was a very proud Papa. Buck is survived by his children, Derek (Mindy) and Angela (Ryan) Paul; grandchildren, Joseph (Hannah), Owen and Libby Hansen and Elliot, Presley, Kendall Paul; great-grandchildren, Emma Jo, Laura Jean, Madilynn Jane, and Benjamin Joseph; sibling, Marsha (Dan) Wolf and brother-in-law, Edward Norwalk. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Cathie, sister Susan Norwalk and brother Terry (Doris). The family would like to express their profound gratitude to UTMC SICU for their unending care and support. Friends and family will be received at the Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee Ohio on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Walker Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, Ohio.
