Roland Makibbin, 91, of Carlisle, Pa., passed away on October 20, 2024. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a memorial service at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W Trindle Rd, Carlisle, Pa. 17013.

My very best wishes to the Makibbin family. I worked with Mac in both Hanover and in Carlisle. He was truly a great man to work with, and a great person to know. Always a true professional and gentleman, and one to be so personable. I will always remember him as having all those attributes and more. Mac will be missed not only by those who worked with him, but anyone who knew him. All my very best to all who were associated with him. Thank you, Mac, for all you have been!

I served on the Board of the former Cornerstone Credit Union with Roland. He was a dedicated volunteer and always had a smile to go along with his great sense of humor. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Caroline and family,
My deepest condolences on Roland's passing. I worked with him for years and we did many events and activities with the Central Pa. Telephone Pioneers. I was so lucky that I got to meet such a wonderful and caring person.

This is certainly sad to hear. What a super nice and fun guy he was. Always had a smile on his face and you could tell he was enjoying life. My heart goes out to his wife, and all his family and friends. I know they will miss him greatly.
