Roland W. "RW" Rodenburg

Roland W. "RW" Rodenburg, age 86, passed away on February 5, 2026, at his home in McClelland, IA.

Roland was born January 28,1940, in Council Bluffs, to the late William Rodenburg, Jr., and Lucille A. (Dollen) Rodenburg. He graduated from Minden High School in 1958. Roland operated the Rodenburg Skelly full-service gas station in Underwood from 1969 to 1984 and later owned and operated M & R Tire and Automotive in Underwood, IA, before retiring in 2013. His memberships include the former Amber Lodge #569 in Quick and now the Cobia Lodge #631 and the Tangier Shrine Temple in Omaha, NE.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kimberly Rodgers; brother Denny Rodenburg.

Survivors include his five children, Kathy (Bill) Huff, Karen Rodenburg, Michael Rodenburg, all of McClelland, Kristi Danielsen of Council Bluffs, Kelly (Steve) Krysl of Gretna ,NE; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, with another one on the way; sister, Sandra (Tom) Whyte, of Boone, IA; longtime companion, Marjorie Messerschmidt, of McClelland.

Visitation for family and friends, Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m., followed by Masonic Services at 3 p.m., followed by remarks by John Lacey, all at funeral home. Luncheon and fellowship at the McClelland Hall following the services.
