Roland "Orvie" Wolfe
86, of West Alexandria, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022.
He was born September 20, 1935 in Dayton, to the late Harold and Isabelle (Hangen) Wolfe.
In addition to his parents, Orvie was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Wolfe; son, Rick Wolfe; daughters, Ronda Rehmert and DeeAnna Moore; brother, Gene Wolf; and sister, Juanita Wolfe.
He is survived by his daughter, Deb Wolfe; grandchildren, Christi (Jeffrey) Back, Tessa Toler, Kellie (Derek) Bush, Whitney (Jake) Unger, and Matthew Wolfe; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; siblings, Betty (Bob) Beneke, Shirley Johnson, and Doris Pollet; and many more family and friends.
Orvie had previously worked at GM and Suburban Propane and retired from Wood Propane after more than 30 years as a bulk delivery driver. He was the most kind-hearted person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. At times he would worry himself due to him caring so much about other people.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 4 from 11AM to 1PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, 3377 US Route 35 East, West Alexandria 45381. The funeral service will begin at 1PM with burial to follow at Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton.
