Rolland L. Corbin, 80, North Street, Limestone, NY, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025, at The Pavilion at BRMC.
Born January 26, 1945, in Del Rio, TX, he was a son of the late Lloyd F. and Alice C. (Perry) Corbin.
He was a 1964 graduate of Limestone Union Free School, where he excelled as a high scoring star basketball player and participated in track and field.
On September 13, 1965, he enlisted in the United States Army and served in Camp Casey, Korea where he worked in the adjacent office until his honorable discharge in 1967. He returned to school and earned an associate's degree from the Olean Business Institute.
Rolland was employed at Clark Brothers in Olean, NY as an accountant until 1972. He then worked for Cattaraugus County as an in-house auditor clerk until his retirement in December 2009 for a total of 37 years.
Rolland was a 5th generation member of First Free Methodist Church Bradford, now B-Free Church in Bradford, and was the church's treasure. He was a member of the Cattaraugus County Bird Club and enjoyed hiking, biking, bird-watching and reading books.
Surviving is one brother, Kenneth (Rona) Corbin, of Limestone NY, and by several cousins.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 11 am to Noon at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main Street where at noon funeral services will be held with Rev. Jim Lenaway, Pastor of B-Free Church officiating, Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to B-Free Church, or a charity of the donor's choice.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
