Roman G Flores

Penitas, Texas Roman G. Flores, 44 years old, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, TX. Roman G. Flores was born on December 9, 1980 to Gerardo Flores Sr. and Norma Venecia †in McAllen, TX. He was a high school graduate of La Joya, TX and made a career in law enforcement becoming a Sgt Sherrif's Deputy for 20 years in Hidalgo County. Roman was an amazing father and husband who loved his family. He enjoyed fishing, barbecuing and cooking for family and friends. Mr. Flores is survived by his beloved wife Jessica Hererra Flores, his father Gerardo Flores and his three children; Roman G. Flores, Joshua I. Flores, Josiah C. Flores and his two siblings; Gerardo Flores Jr. and Bonnie Rosales (Michael). Friends and family will gather for a visitation on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and a rosary reciting at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission, TX., followed by a burial at The Lord and I Cemetery in Penitas, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of The Lord and I Funeral Home – Peñitas, Texas.
