I am Amos Keller. I first met Romeo in 1982 when I came down to Monrovia, to attend high school. At that time, he was in the process of preparing to return to the US for the second time. Romeo was adopted by my cousin and his wife, the late Mr.& Mrs. Traub. He was very much loved by them. Romeo and I met on a few other occasions after I came to the US in 2003. Romeo was a pleasant and fun person. A very caring and loving person. We will miss him. May his soul rest in peace!

I got to know Romeo through my friends Lowell and Martha Dargbeh. He was a loving, giving, caring and compassionate man.
My fondest memories of him include the time we were both at a function at People´s Christian Church and he came to speak with me. There was so much excitement in his voice and manner as he told me he was getting married to a Ghanaian lady. He was really happy. He told me her name was Tina. I congratulated him. Being a Ghanaian myself I couldn´t wait to meet Tina after they got married and she came to join him here in Durham. We have become close friends, more like sisters really, and therefore family. I am glad Romeo knew before his passing that his family and friends will support and care for Tina in his absence.
Another fond memory I have of Romeo that shows his giving, caring and compassionate nature is something he did when Tina and I were both sick with the flu just before the COVID 19 epidemic started. We had the symptoms- headache, chills, congestion, loss of appetite, etc. He went to a liquor store and a grocery store, purchased the necessary ingredients and made us this toddy that was really strong, yet soothing. It may not have cured us but we both certainly felt better after a few days. I was very grateful for this show of love.
May your soul find eternal rest my friend.

Uncle Romeo had the kindest heart and always knew just what to say to make you laugh. When he lived in Philadelphia, we spent a lot of time together, and he quickly became more than just an uncle to me. He was dependable, a man of his word, and someone who loved his family deeply. He was my guide and a steady shoulder I could lean on. He will truly be missed, but I find comfort in knowing heaven has gained another angel.

Daddy Romeo is my Forster Dad. He was an amazing Father. I can't just take the memory out of me when we met in Ghana some years ago. RIP my papa.
