Leon Clemmons Obituary
After graduating from high school, Leon moved to Detroit. He served in the US Army for 23 years serving three tours in Vietnam. After retiring from the Army, Leon work for the City of Salina before retiring again.
He is survived by his children: Leona Clemmons of Hutchinson, Leon Clemmons II of Jacksonville, FL, Johnny Clemmons of Lansing, MI, Jeffrey Clemmons of Detroit, MI, Anthony Clemmons of Lansing, MI, Walter Lawrence of Hutchinson, and Christina Clemmons of Lansing, MI; sister, Delores Clemmons-White; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Leon was preceded in death by his: mother; brothers, Lonnie and Mason; and sister, Carolyn Jean.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were made by Elliott Mortuary.
