Ron Obenchain Obituary
Visitation Friday 5 to 6 PM in the Funeral Home
Calvin Ron Obenchain, age 90, of Stockton, MO. passed away Thursday, March 26th, 2026 at his home surrounded by family and friends.
He was born September 15, 1935, in Sedan, Kansas, a son of Floyd and Ruby Obenchain.
Ron proudly served his country as a mechanic in the United States Army for three years. He served during the Korean War.
He went on to receive a mechanical engineering degree from Wichita State University. Later, a Masters degree from Avila College. He worked for Allied Signal in Kansas city, MO. until retirement.
He and the love of his life, Joe Obenchain moved to Stockton, MO in the early 90s.
They both immensely enjoyed fishing, hiking, gardening, and most of all spending time with family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Betty Joe Obenchain; one Son, Ronald Bruce Obenchain; and one Sister; Leota Mills.
He is survived by his Daughter, Amy Parrish; his cherished Grandchildren, Julia and Michael; and two great Grandchildren; Piper and Calvin Knox. Also, many extended family members.
Ron lived a life of purpose with unwavering integrity. He will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers memorials to DAV
Visitation- Bland- Brumback Funeral home -Friday April 3rd from 5-6 Pm
Services will be held Saturday March 4th, 10am at Stockton Christian Church with military honors.
