Ron Youngless

Ron Youngless, 63, of New London, died unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, October 3, 2024. Ron was born on October 11, 1960, in New London, Ohio the son of Vernedia "Louise" (McClurg) Youngless and Norman Dale Youngless Sr. He was a 1979 graduate of New London High School, where he played baseball and was the best pitcher of his time. Ron was employed by Whirlaway for 27 years as a machine operator, recently retiring five years ago.
In his free time, Ron liked to play volleyball, horseshoes and card games. He enjoyed listening to the radio and watching the Cleveland Browns and Indians when they were on TV. He could be found mowing his yard and taking care of his property every opportunity, he had. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Ron is survived by his daughter, Patience M. Link of New London; grandchildren, Dakota, Dalton, Abbey, Beverly, Gracie and Alizabeth; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Braxton and Aubriella; siblings, Brenda Sears of Sullivan, David Youngless of Maine, Ed Youngless of Mt. Vernon and Rebecca Absher of New London; sister-in-law, Rosa Cloudt of Oberlin and Thersa (Art) Scott of Wellington, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Marie Stackpole and siblings, Sharon Strader and Norman Youngless.
Ron's family will not be holding public services, but encourage those who knew Ron, to honor and remember him in their own way.
