Ronald Alstead Obituary
Ron was born September 28, 1955, in Dearborn, MI, to the late George and Betty (Kemper) Alstead. He enjoyed a long and prosperous career in Systems Operations at DTE for 37 years, was an avid golfer, and enjoyed music.
Ron is the beloved husband of Deborah and the late Pamela; brother of the late Richard (Mary) and the late Robert (the late Roma); uncle of David (Margaret) Alstead, Daniel (Jennifer) Alstead, Jeffrey (Kristine) Alstead, Adam (Julia) Zimmerman, Nathan (Tiffany) Koonter, Gregory (Elizabeth) Koonter, Kelly (Matthew) Herbert, and Allyson (Juan) Peòn; son-in-law of Joan (the late David) Koonter; and brother-in-law of the late David (Theresa Martina) Koonter. Ron is also survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
Family and friends may gather for visitation on Sunday, January 29, from 1-5 pm, and again Monday morning from 9-11 am.
Ron's funeral ceremony is planned for Monday morning, January 30, at 11:00 am, also at Heeney-Sundquist.
Interment at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia, will follow a luncheon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or the charity of one's choice.

I am retired DTE employee @ TSSC Farmington. I worked with Ron from the field various DTE locations. Was A fine person to work with.
