Ronald B. Apt

Ronald B. Apt, age 75, of Edgerton, Ohio, passed away, Sunday, December 17, 2023 at his his home surrounded by his family. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the United States Marine Corps and achieving the rank of Corporal.  He worked for over 25 years at the former Bryan Custom Plastics.  Ronald attended Trinity Bible Church in Edgerton, and enjoyed playing cards, keeping his yard and driveway in tip-top shape, spending time at the Edgerton Senior Center and at his kids and grandkids’ sporting events.

Ronald B. Apt was born on April 25, 1948, in Montpelier, Ohio the son of Robert B. and Beulah C. (Calvin) Apt.  He was a 1966 graduate of Edgerton High School.  He married Vickie D. Kurtz in Edgerton on May 17, 1969 and she survives.  

Ronald is also survived by his sons, Doug Apt, Randy (Karen) Apt and Corey (Darlene) Apt, all of Edgerton; grandchildren, Derek Apt, Alexiah Baird, Joshua Apt, Kaeley Apt and Caden Apt; several nieces and nephews and many cousins, including Linda and Fuzzy Entenman.   He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Maple Grove Cemetery with Pastor Matt Brown officiating.  Military rites will be presented by the USMC Honor Guard and the American Legion.

Memorials are requested to the Edgerton Senior Center.
