Ronald J. Aromatorio

1942 - 2026

Ronald J. Aromatorio, 83, of Latrobe, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026, at Independence Health System Latrobe Hospital. Born March 29, 1942, in Wampum, he was the son of the late George Aromatorio and Jennie (Bennett) Aromatorio. Ron was a member of Holy Family Church. Prior to his retirement, he had served as a guidance counselor at the Greater Latrobe Senior High School for 28 years. He enjoyed reading, listening to music, and attending theater productions. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Snyder; and five brothers, Angelo, Guy, Raymond, Albert, and Gene Aromatorio. Ron is survived by his wife, Antoinette P. (Callahan) Aromatorio; one son, Gregory P. Aromatorio; his brother-in-law, Thomas J. Callahan; goddaughters, Jennifer Simantel and Katie Nerney; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, at LOPATICH-BRINKER FUNERAL HOME LLC, 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, at Holy Family Church, Latrobe, with the Rev. E. George Saletrik as celebrant.
