Ronald Francis Aubele, 87, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA passed peacefully surrounded by his loving wife of 64 years, Louise Aubele (Koepfer) and loving children James (Beth), Luanne Foyle (Shawn), Dianne Finocchi (Tom), Suzanne Kosmer (Steve), Bethanne McMullan (BJ); nine grandchildren, Dominic, Daniel, Lauren, Shawna, Tori, Kelsey, Kara, Nicole and Cole and nine great grandchildren. Also survived by his beloved brother Robert Aubele (Bernadette) and sister-in-laws, Joann Aubele, Kathy Aubele, Pam Aubele, Mary Lou Kahl, Rose Innocenti (Rick) and Kathy Koepfer as well as many dear nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his beloved parents Edward and Florence Aubele and cherished siblings Pat, Bud, Bill and Ken.
Ron was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy and enjoyed meeting his shipmates at yearly reunions. Ron worked for USPS as a mail carrier. You may also remember Ron working at the beer concession at the Civic Arena for all events. Ron had a love for music, weekend football, working in the yard, fishing with his grandchildren and relaxing at the beach with his family.
After retirement, Ron and Louise relocated to Sarasota, FL where he continued to make cherished memories with his loving family and friends.

A Memorial service will be held in Pittsburgh at a later date. Contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice at tidewellhospice.org or to St Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
