Mitchell Barlow, 38, passed away on March 16, 2025. He was born on March 27, 1986, in Gastonia, North Carolina, the son of Katherine Denise Starling Clinkscales and the late Ronland Leverne Barlow.
Mitchell was known for his love of cooking and cherished the moments spent with family during gatherings. He had a deep passion for animals, baseball, and football. Notably, he took great joy in playing baseball with his son, which brought him much happiness. In his leisure time, he enjoyed taking afternoon rides while listening to music.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronland Leverne Barlow, and his niece, Emily Rae Paul.
Mitchell is survived by his mother, Denise Clinkscales (Timmy) of Wallace, South Carolina; his son, Ryan Mitchell Barlow of McColl, South Carolina; his brother, Clinton "Porky" Barlow of Wallace, South Carolina; his sister, Brandy Norris (Kevin) of Bennettsville, South Carolina; his nieces and nephews, Adam Paul, Jordan Paul, Kayden Barlow, Rainbow Ivey, and Lindan Walters; and a close friend, Melissa Sellers of Wallace, South Carolina.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, South Carolina.
The family invites friends to join them from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the home of his sister, Brandy, located at 306 Oakwood Street, Bennettsville, SC 29512. Additionally, friends are welcome to visit from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. just prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
