Ronald Beaver Obituary

Ronald Keith "Rooster" Beaver, 58, passed away Monday, Feb. 23, 2026, surrounded by his family.
He was a native and lifetime resident of North Carolina. Rooster was a family man, an avid bear and hog hunter, fisherman, loved life and the great outdoors.
Ronald was the son of Austin Beaver and Elizabeth Mashburn.
Surviving are his wife, Melinda Beaver; one daughter, Lori Anderson and husband Kane, one step daughter, Tiffany Morrisette and husband Corey; one son, Aaron Beaver and wife Megan; three stepsons, Bryce Honea, Jason Holderfield and wife Amberlee, and Billy Holderfield and wife Brittany; four brothers, Dennis, Travis, Calvin and Scott Beaver; 11 grandchildren; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, Feb. 28, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, with the Rev. Eddie Cook officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10-11:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, prior to the service.
Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, is in charge of all arrangements.
