Ronald Benter Obituary
Ronald Glenn Benter, a lifetime resident of Winona, passed away at his home, unexpectedly, on March 6, 2025, at the age of 84.
He spent a portion of his career at Whitcraft, where he was involved in houseboat manufacturing and interior finishing until the company's closure. Ronald later took on a brief role at Marvin Huff Home Construction, before embarking on a remarkable 39-year journey with Malteurop.
Outside of his professional life, Ronald was an avid woodworker.
Ronald is survived by his sons, Mark (Julia), Jeffrey (Lisa), and Curt (Jana); grandchildren, Jacque Randall, Kyle Glenn, Nicholas Mark, Matthew Ronald, Ellen Marie (John) Luebker, Stefan Ronald (Amanda), and Ryan Lee; 7 great grandchildren; and best friend, Gary Hoff.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Marie; siblings, Roger and Beverly; and parents, Ann and Clarence.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 11am at Hoff Celebration of Life Center (3480 Service Dr. Winona, MN) with visitation beginning at 10am.
Hoff Celebration of Life Center is assisting the family.
